You will have to pay the tourist tax in addition to the price of the room. For 2024, the tax is fixed at 0,55€ / person / night, For 2025, the tax is fixed at 0,80€ / person / night.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Article 1 – Reservation

Reservations can be made by phone, email, or through our partners’ websites (OPEN PRO, Gîte de France, Booking.com). At the time of booking, a contract is sent to the client by email.

The reservation becomes effective once the client has sent the owner a deposit of 25% of the total amount of the stay, with a minimum of one night’s stay per reserved room. Receipt of the deposit constitutes signature of the contract. Prices are all-inclusive, excluding tourist tax.

The balance is to be paid upon arrival or departure at the owner’s premises.

Article 2 – Withdrawal

For reservations made by mail, phone, or internet, the tenant does not benefit from a withdrawal period, in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating to accommodation services provided on a specific date or according to a determined period.

Article 3 – Payment Methods

Payment can be made by credit card, instant transfer, cash (on-site), or check. Any bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.

Article 4 – Cancellation

Any cancellation must be notified by letter or email addressed to the owner.

a) Cancellation before the start of the stay:

Free cancellation up to 21 days before your arrival.

If the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours and less than 21 days before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner.

If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner, who will also request payment of the balance of the stay.

b) If the client does not show up before 7:30 PM on the scheduled day of arrival, this contract becomes void and the owner may dispose of their guest rooms. The deposit remains with the owner, who reserves the right to claim the balance of the stay.

c) In case of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay remains fully with the owner.

Unused additional services will be refunded.

If the owner cancels the stay before it begins, they must inform the client by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The client, without prejudice to any claims for damages, will be refunded immediately for the amounts paid. They will also receive compensation at least equal to the penalty they would have incurred if the cancellation had been made by them on that date.
Article 5 – Arrival and Departure Times

Arrivals are between 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM. In case of late arrival, please inform us before 5:00 PM.

On the day of departure, the room must be vacated before 11:00 AM.

Article 6 – For Your Comfort and Tranquility

The rooms and the common room are non-smoking, and it is forbidden to light candles or incense.

For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed, and meals or picnics are prohibited in the rooms and the common room.

Article 7 – Rates

The tourist tax is charged in addition. It is a fixed amount per person per night. Le Clos Macé is obliged to collect it and pay it in full to the public treasury.

Article 8 – Use of the Premises

The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them according to their intended purpose. Le Clos Macé commits to providing the rooms in impeccable condition. Any problem encountered by the client must be reported to Le Clos Macé within 3 hours of receiving the keys. The client agrees to return the rooms in good condition and to respect the house rules. Upon returning the keys, if the owner finds any misuse of the room, they may claim the replacement value of stolen, damaged, broken, or soiled items and compensation equivalent to twice the deposit in case of non-compliance with the house rules.

Article 9 – Capacity

This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse the additional clients. This refusal cannot be considered as a modification or termination of the contract by the owner, so if the number of clients leaving exceeds those refused, no refund can be considered.

Article 10 – Disputes

Any complaint regarding the condition of the premises must be submitted to Le Clos Macé within three days following the start date of the stay. Any other complaint regarding a stay must be addressed by email, as soon as possible, to Le Clos Macé, which is competent to make a proposal for an amicable agreement. These provisions do not prejudice any legal actions taken by the client or the owner.
